Begin your journey in the beautiful city of Las Vegas. You’ll be picked up from your hotel by a fabulous limousine and taken to the airport. Here, you will board a luxurious helicopter and be flown to the Grand Canyon. Enjoy the fabulous views of the city as you leave.
The 45-minute helicopter ride brings you past gorgeous views of the Hoover Dam and the Colorado River. Be wowed by your pilot’s commentary of fascinating historical and geological information.
Upon your arrival at the Grand Canyon national park, you will be overwhelmed with beauty as you enter the large plateaus and the amazing multi-hued topography from the sky.
When you get there, your helicopter will decline into the plunging depths of the canyon to the magnificent floor, right by the rushing Colorado River. Here, you will then load onto a boat and be taken for a narrated ride down the river.
This tour was exactly as promised, fun, simple, and easy for myself and partner. Everything was arranged ahead of time for us and happened on schedule. The limo pick up, amazing helicopter flights, boat ride on the river, viewing sights and lunch at the top of the canyon. We were expected and greeted at every stop during the day… We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and I would book again with Viator without hesitation.
Immediately after your river adventure, you will be taken back to the top of the canyon where you will visit the Welcome Center at Grand Canyon West. Gather to board the shuttle bus that takes you to experience the glorious West Rim.
Explore the rich history and culture of the Native Americans at Eagle Point Indian Village. Enjoy a real Native American buffet-style lunch hosted by the Hualapai Indians, served at Guano Point. Guano Point overlooks the mystifying Colorado River. You will have 2 and a half hours of free time on the West Rim to explore at your will.
While on the west rim, you’ll have the option of experiencing the fabulous Skywalk. This structure extends 70 feet off the west rim and hovers 4000 feet above the ground… And the floor is MADE OF GLASS. You will see breathtaking 360-degree views from here. Not so many are so brave to walk on a glass floor 4000 feet above the ground. This part of the tour is optional, so make sure to add it on when booking your tour.
We had never been in to the Grand Canyon, let alone been in a helicopter – this puts trips on a new scale! Was one of the most brilliant, fantastic things we have EVER done. We were both a little nervous but our pilot Cody was excellent, he put us at ease straight away and his chatter over the headsets had us in stitches, let alone his skills as a pilot! We landed on the Grand Canyon floor, had a boat trip up the Colorado River and then walked the Skywalk. If you take one trip in Vegas this is it!
Departure is at 6:45am. If you prefer a later start, you may opt for a 10:45 am departure time. During April, May, June, July, August, September, and October, there is also a departure time of 1pm offered.
