Your adventure begins from the moment you leave your hotel, where you are driven to the airport and to your awaiting helicopter. The helicopter will comfortably sit 6 people, so you won’t be crowded. From take-off you will be flown towards the Grand Canyon West Rim and you will pass over sites such as the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Before landing the helicopter will take you 1’500ft into the Canyon itself, from where you will see unparalleled views of the Canyons colourful rock walls, before returning to the top and arriving at your final destination, the Grand Canyon West Ranch.
You are free to spend the day as you wish. While you are perfectly free to just laze it away in the beautiful surroundings, there are plenty of optional Western activities to enjoy which include horse-riding (although these options can only be purchased once at the Ranch). At the end of the day you will enjoy seeing the sunset over the desert, before having a candlelit dinner in the ranch house, with beer and wine available for purchase. After dinner you can sit around the campfire under the stars before retiring to your accommodation for the night.
You have a choice of overnight accommodation at the ranch, you can choose either to sleep in a Pine Cabin or an authentic Native American Tipi (tepee), depending on the experience that you want to have. The cabins are equipped for comfort with a double bed, bathroom with a cowboy bathtub, hot and cold running water from a natural spring, a log fireplace and electricity. The Tipi’s are for the more adventurous, although still very comfortable. The Tipi’s contain a double bed, propane heater and a 12-volt lantern.
The following morning you will be treated to a ranch breakfast before being collected by your helicopter and your 45 minute return flight to Las Vegas, which includes a final fly pass down the world famous Las Vegas Strip. Upon landing you will be driven back to your hotel, where you can enjoy the rest of your time in Las Vegas feeling refreshed after your tranquil Overnight Grand Canyon West Ranch Getaway.
